A Makeup Artist's Favorite Things::Holiday Blog Series Part 3: Dear Santa...

Well, so far I have covered the basics in my last two parts of this special Holiday Blog Series... I have shared with you my favorite products for daytime makeup, my best picks for lipgloss, and if you go back through the archives, you can also see my top choices for mascara and a fantastic morning skin care routine.

Those are just the everyday makeup and skincare basics. The must haves for all year round.

I love all that stuff. LOVE it!! But another of my absolute weaknesses?? Bath and Body Products...
Oh yes...anything bubbly, scented, creamy, silky, smooth..I'm all about it!

This time of year, we are all looking for that little something special to put on our wish list, and do I have some great ones to ask Santa for!

Here are just a few of the most deliciously luxurious Bath and Body goodies that I absolutely love, and recommend to all of you makeup/skincare/fragrance savvy ladies...er, junkies like me... out there.

For the shower or bath...

Start your day with a  smile...Lather up with this rich, bubbly concoction of Honey and exotic flowers, and luxuriate in a nice long lingering shower...
I am a giant fan of anything bath and body, and Lush Handmade Cosmetics is NO exception.
Do not be turned away by the overpowering aroma of essential oils when you walk into that store. Pick up It's Raining Men Body Wash, (also makes a fantastic bubble bath)go home, try it, and I DARE you not to go running back for more Lush goodies...and more...
Yummy Yummy...Wait, I think they have a great Shower Gel named that too....
It's Raining men Shower gel

Dry Skin? Oh do I have the perfect solution...This softly scented shower oil, yes, oil, lathers up with water to deliver silky suds that feel like heaven on the skin, and you may not even need a moisturizer after you have toweled off. Lather up in a loofah, or drizzle some in your bath, and call me in the morning.

My dear esthetician friend Teshara of Skin and Makeup by Teshara introduced Farmhouse Fresh body products to us girls at a Christmas party, and I was immediately hooked. True to its fun name, this amazing gentle yet hearty scrub has the yummy scent of sweet cream. Scrub a dub, dub for sure.
You may just want to stay in the tub all day
$23 for 6 oz.

Follow your bath or shower with one of these dreamy creamy treats...

I la-la-la-LOVE Bliss products, especially these amazing Body Butters. Especially the Vanilla Bergamot formula. Super rich, creamy, hydrating...AHHH-mazing. I recommend starting with some Bliss Soapy Suds Shower Gel, then smoothing on one of these moisturizing babies.

Two, please.
$28 for 6.7 oz.

Along with the Sweet Cream Scrub, Teshara pulled this little gem out at the party. Instantly enamored with the lovely and unique scent of this Agave Nectar Body Oil, I bought two. One for me, and one for a very lucky girlfriend.
Can you say perfect White Elephant Gift?

For extra love for those extra dry areas, indulge in this creamy blend of soothing chamomile and lavender. Lush Dream Cream is a staple in my routine, especially in the winter months. It feels wonderful, and it smells sooo good. Team it up with the It's raining Men Shower Gel, a couple of Bath Bombs, and The Honey I Washed the Kids soap.
You'll wish it came in a larger size
$25.95 for 8.4 oz.

And for a bit more luxury and an especially dreamy scent, I am addicted to the richness and fragrance of this Creme Brulee scented body creme by Laura Mercier. I recommend asking for the whole set of these amazing body products!
Addicted since my Nordies days

Ohhhh....These are just a FEW of my favorites, I could go on and on all day! But I definitely recommend one or more of these sweet treats, because I'm almost positive each of these will be beautifully packaged in a special set for Christmas!

Happy Holidays!!!
