When I met freelance writer Mari, I knew we were a match made in heaven!
A writer for a major cosmetics brand, as well as for Sacramento Magazine, Mari is one very gifted and talented (and beautiful to boot!) young lady! Being a self confessed word-nerd and former aspiring professional writer, and of course, makeup fanatic, (naturally!) I was giddy with excitement while talking beauty and creative writing with Mari when she sat down in my studio chair for her bridal makeup preview session.
...Was that a run on sentence or what, Mari? Teehee...
Somewhat intimidated, as I knew I was most certainly in the company of my literary beauty superior, (and I was so excited to know more about her job that I could barely get into the makeup application of our session!) Mari proved to be more than humble and kind, and she was excited about my work. This gave me all the confidence I needed to set to work creating my bridal beauty magic, and give her my signature service and bridal beauty glow!
I kept Mari's makeup clean, chic, and beautifully glowing to enhance her super pretty skin. Perfectly groomed brows and softly blushing cheeks were the showcase of this classic makeup application-not to mention precisely placed faux individual lashes to give her eyes just the right amount of definition.
Mari and her ladies had their morning of bridal beauty in downtown Sacramento at The Citizen Hotel and she and her long-time beau Dom had their wedding at the Sacramento Greek Orthodox Church. Their dinner reception was held at Mulvaney's B&L Restaurant
I love these images of Mari, as they truly capture her beauty, her love for Dom, and the lavish wedding they had to celebrate their union and future as husband and wife.
