The HideOut
The next morning, I designed a soft, yet structured updo with lots of volume at the crown, and just a few face framing waves to peek out from beneath her fuchsia chunni. Her makeup was kept clean and classically beautiful; However, to compliment her gorgeous lengha, I added just a bit more liner and a bolder lash for this look, with lips and cheeks that were stained with just a bit of richer pink.
Crystal and Onkar's wedding weekend was one of the most uniquely beautiful, romantic, and special of my entire career. I don't know if I have ever felt so much love and peace in one place and among so many people. I loved them and their families, and I wish them all nothing but the happiest future-full of travel, adventure and love.
Thank you so much, Crystal and Onkar, and congratulations to you, your doggies, and your families!
It was such a pleasure to be part of the beauty that surrounded you, and your day.

A blissful union...
Nestled among the mountainous backdrops of lakes and streams and gorgeous rock formations, The HideOut at Kirkwood is a hidden gem, and could not have been a more fitting venue for nature wise and adventure loving Crystal and her groom Onkar. Such an environment is heavenly inspiration for any artist- especially this one who loves nothing more than clean, classic, and natural bridal beauty.
It was such a treat to have the opportunity to travel to such a beautiful location, and to create two separate looks for Crystal and Onkar's weekend of festivities, and two ceremonies-an American style wedding among the trees and outdoor beauty, and a Sikh Anand Karaj the following morning.

The first look I created for Crystal was inspired by her swoon-worthy white Claire Pettibone gown and lace up Seychelles heels. We opted for lots of volume and tumbled curls to compliment her crystal headband, and a clean chic and classic makeup look; softly blushing cheeks, a carefully placed design of individual faux lashes and just a touch of soft shadow and liner.
