A gorgeous and talented opera singer from New York City and her dashing fiance of an opera producer. Now...What could be more romantic?
Ashley reached out to me all the way from the Big Apple to inquire about my doing her hair and makeup for her destination wedding in Foresthill at the Monte Verde Inn. We knew timing would be limited and that getting together for a trial run session would be a challenge. In fact, we met only two days before she and Andy tied the knot- mere hours after her flight landed in California-to do a preview of her bridal beauty look.
Ashley's bridal beauty vision was essentially a modern twist on old Hollywood glam. She envisioned big voluminous curls with just enough of a retro feel, and a makeup look that was understated, but still spoke to a classically bolder brow, clean skin and a perfectly defined eye.
I LOVED working with this beauty, and meeting her handsome groom and their amazing families. Working with the seriously talented Charleton Churchill, who captured Ashley's beauty in the with his stunning photography was as always, a phenomenal experience.
I stayed with Ashley until after her ceremony to be sure she remained picture perfect for every single shot-through hugs and kisses, to vows and tears. I love being able to work with my favorite photographers to turn a bride's day of beauty into a timeless fashion shoot that will create images that she will absolutely love, just as much as we do.
