A girl, a gown, and a soiree...
Elizabeth and I met at a client appreciation party at Sparkle Bridal Couture in Midtown where I was demonstrating bridal makeup. Elizabeth had purchased her gown at Sparkle and was enjoying refreshments and head shots at the party with her friend (and maid of honor) Sylvia. It was around happy hour time, and I gave the ladies both late afternoon touch-ups to refresh their lips and cheeks, encouraging them to take their mini-makeover out on the town.
After a bit of chit chat, Elizabeth inquired about my availability for her Citizen Hotel wedding, and I was happily available!
I didn't know until we met for her bridal makeup trial that Elizabeth and her groom were avid salsa dancers, and I loved this fun detail that added to her sweet and bubbly personality. I not only admired her passion for dance, but soon learned that Elizabeth and Victor's story was one of courage and strength, and the kind of true, deep love and friendship that every girl dreams of.
